Transfer Photos Without Installing an App
Send a photo from your phone to your computer (or any other device) at full quality. No app, no cloud, no compression.
Quick answer: Open sharetexts.online on both devices. Connect with the pairing code. Tap the attachment icon on the sending device, select your photo, and it transfers at its original quality.
Step by Step
Open ShareText on both devices
Open sharetexts.online on your phone and computer.
Connect the devices
Tap Send on the device with the photo. Enter the 6-digit code on the other device.
Select your photo
Tap the attachment icon (📎) in the composer. Choose one or more photos from your camera roll or file system.
It arrives on the other device
The photo transfers directly. On the receiving device, tap Save to download it at full quality.
Does ShareText Compress Photos?
No. ShareText transfers the original file bytes. If you send a 12MP photo (5 MB), the other device receives the same 5 MB file. There is no re-compression, no thumbnail substitution, and no quality reduction.
Photo Quality vs. Other Methods
ShareText — Original quality. No compression. File moves directly between devices.
Email — Often compresses photos. Gmail reduces images above a certain size.
Messaging apps — WhatsApp, iMessage, and others compress images to save bandwidth.
Can I Send Multiple Photos?
Yes. You can attach multiple files at once. Each file transfers individually and you'll see progress for each one.
What About Videos?
ShareText supports video files too — MP4, MOV, and other formats your browser can handle. Videos transfer at their original quality and size.
