How to Share Your Clipboard Between Phone and PC
Copy a link on your phone, paste it into your PC's browser — or move text the other way — without any app, account, or cable.

Step by Step
Open ShareTexts on both devices
Any browser works — Chrome on Android, Safari on iPhone, Edge on Windows, anything on your Mac or Linux machine. Nothing to install.
Connect the two devices
Tap Send on one device and enter the 6-digit code on the other. If both devices are on the same Wi-Fi, you can simply tap its name when it appears under Nearby. QR works too: tap Show QR on one device and scan it with the other's camera.
Paste and send
Long-press → Paste (or Ctrl+V) in the composer at the bottom. Press Enter. The text appears on the other device — tap it once to copy it there.

Yes — that's the point. Vendor clipboard sync only works inside one ecosystem (Apple to Apple, via Universal Clipboard; Samsung to Samsung). ShareTexts is just a web page, so it works between any combination: iPhone to Windows PC, Android to MacBook, and everything else.
Is My Clipboard Text Private?
Your text travels directly between the two browsers you connected — it is not stored on a server and does not pass through any ShareTexts storage. The connection is end-to-end encrypted by the browser's WebRTC layer. When you're done, close the tab and the room disappears. See Privacy & Security for details.
Does the Clipboard Sync Both Ways Automatically?
No, and that's deliberate. Nothing on your device is read automatically — you choose what to send by pasting it and pressing Enter. That means no background service watching your clipboard, and nothing leaves a device until you say so.
